There are a huge number of opportunities available for individuals and families, its simply a question of choosing what you'd like to do. From conservation work to animal welfare, community radio to fundraising, the choice is yours. Seaside Work

Conservation/Farming
Have a look at the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers who operate and organise a huge range of valuable conservation projects UKwide as well as conservation holidays. Or Cornwall Wildlife Trust, who have opportunities in education, garden work, monitoring and research, otter survey work or longer term reserves work. How about working with WWOOF? They organise volunteer work on organic farms, gardens and smallholdings throughout the UK. Free board and lodge in exchange for help. Or the Heath Project? This was set up to restore the vital heathland landscape at several sites across Europe and opportunities exist for you to get involved.
