Take an early morning Gannel ferry across to Crantock, stop in the picture postcard village with its thatched cottages and Norman church to pick up some freshly baked bread and pasties, before walking the stunning coastal track round to the beautiful and secluded Polly Joke, a tiny National Trust owned cove.
Take a dip and enjoy your hamper packed full of local produce. In the afternoon why noy go horseriding along the Gannel estuary before a sunset Pentire headland walk with a bottle of chilled Camel Valley wine?

You will get wet today! Head on down to the surf at Fistral, Lusty Glaze or Watergate Bay and try something new such as mountain boarding, coasteering, kitesurfing, surfing or even zipwire. Hourly, half day or full day options are available with highly experienced coaches. For lunch, well why not sample one of the numerous beachside funky coastal bars.
Hunger satisfied, head on down to the harbour, jump on a boat trip and go fishing or for something a bit more adrelanin pumped try a high speed boat whizz around the bay. Still want more? Party the night away in one of the numerous bars and clubs that give Newquay its beat!
Experience family fun
Get close and personal with the sharks at the Blue Reef Aquarium in the morning or sandcastle building on Towan Beach next door.
For lunch, well there are loads of family friendly places in and around town or perhaps a picnic on Towan Head overlooking Newquay. Then head out to the award winning Dairyland, Oasis Fun Pools or Trenance Park for an afternoon of boating, getting wet or milking the cows!
And then to round off the day, head back to Trenance Park and Newquay Zoo to experience one of the frequent night-time family activities that take place there throughout the year.
