NEWQUAY FIRST will from this season onwards, be an important Newquay business initiative administered by Newquay For Excellence in partnership with Tourism Newquay, NCCT and Town Centre Manager. Utilising Convergence money (the next stage of European Funding replacing the Objective One scheme), Newquay First will have two key elements:
1. The distribution to all Newquay residences of a Newquay First Loyalty Card to encourage residents and holidaymakers alike to put NEWQUAY FIRST and go local ie shop in Newquay. Newquay First will be working with retail outlets to offer exclusive promotions and discounts to Newquay First Loyalty Card holders
2. To offer all Newquay businesses who sign up to the Newquay First charter, FREE and relevant business courses to look to encourage the upskilling of employees
This is a fantastic initiative will real potential benefits for Newquay businesses and the local economy and whats more its completely free for businesses to get involved!
