It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It certainly is and here in Newquay, there will be three days of festive loveliness for all to enjoy from the 29th November until 1st December.  

There will be a Christmas Market, Live Music, Santa’s Grotto, Lantern Parade and Light Switch On followed by fireworks and much more…!

Newquay Town Council presents... Newquay at Christmas! ✨

This year's Christmas event is set to be bigger and better than ever before, taking place across 3 days from 29th November - 1st December. There will be a licensed bar, food stalls, live music, and exciting entertainment (to be announced). The big man himself will also be making an appearance in his grotto with his elves! Here's the incredible line up you won't want to miss:

FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER

Dickensian Christmas Craft Fayre in Flambards’ Victorian Village

Step back in time where over 80 local craft makers will be lining the cobbles of Flambards’ famous Victorian Village for the Christmas Craft Fayre this festive season (Saturday 30th November – Sunday 1st December). 

For a truly Dickensian Christmas shopping experience, whatever the weather, visitors can head inside to explore the full-sized Victorian Village and discover craft stalls, sample local treats and enjoy a drink among the authentic 19th Century installations including a milliners, butchers and sweet shop among many others. 

Back for its fifth year, Flambards Christmas Craft Fayre is a festive and family-friendly event, combining the magic of Christmas with the perfect opportunity to choose some great gifts and treats for loved ones. 

Added entertainment will be on offer in the form of Helston Town band for a Christmas Carol sing-along making a wonderfully merry atmosphere in the theme park and indoor exhibitions. 
The Victorian Village is a journey back in time where visitors can peer through windowpanes to 60 nostalgic scenes giving an insight into the life of a tobacconist, policeman, a teacher and a society lady, among many others. 

Visitors can also explore the rest of Flambards Indoor Attractions which include the dramatic re-creation of a London street during wartime Britain. 
Experiencing life on the Homefront, visitors will feel the ground shake beneath them after another bomb hits and hear the deafening sound of an air raid siren in the Britain in the Blitz exhibition. 

For the weekend Flambards have set the special price of £1 for all those wishing to peruse the festive treats on offer.

Lane Theatre presents Aladdin 

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a good old-fashioned pantomime and Oddsocks are returning to Lane Theatre with their fabulous pantomime which this year is Aladdin. The story may be familiar but there will be a modern twist. Early booking is advised as we sold out last year.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £6 for children (under 13's).
