Escape Surf School To Re-Open
11th March 2021
Hello from Newquay!
We hope lockdown 3 has treated you OK? It's certainly been a tough few months, but with the recent announcement of the government roadmap, there's a tangible sense of optimism in the air.
Based on the current guidance, we are planning to reopen our doors from the 29th March 2021. It looks like this will be a "soft opening" as we realise there will not be many visitors to Newquay around this time, however some of our local clients are pleased with this date!
Of course, we will be following the guidance relevant at the time, and things will initially be a little different, with capacity restrictions, additional hygiene protocols and so on, but we are pleased to be taking small steps to get back to some sort of normality!
We are now taking bookings for the season, and it's looking like it may be another busy one: some dates in May & June are already nearing capacity!
If you are planning to surf with us this year, we'd recommend getting booked in soon.
Any bookings that have to changed due to Government guidance or a Covid related issue can be changed to another date, or will be refunded.
We've confirmed two more dates in May & June for our Enhanced Surf Performance Weekends:
22nd / 23rd May & 12th / 13th June.
This weekend is aimed at those intermediate surfers, who are able to paddle, pop-up and turn, but require further development of existing skills, to improve their surfing performance.
If you'd like to improve your surfing through technical coaching, video analysis & surf specific exercise, then this is the course for you.
Note - these weekends are very popular and are already 50% booked!
