Activities
Newquay may be well known for its surfing but there’s also a huge selection of other water sports, activities and pastimes run by professional companies and instructors in and around the town.
Newquay really is the place for activities on sea, land and even in the air. Many of our beaches, plus the harbour have activity centres where you can do a wide selection of sea, beach and cliff activities all in one place. There is sea fishing, snorkelling, diving and some great boat trips to enjoy with a chance of seeing the local sea life. Although famous for our coastline, and its clear seas, there is also the Gannel Estuary, Trenance Boating Lake, water & Aqua parks and a FlowRider to enjoy. In fact, there are very few water-based activities you won’t find in or around Newquay!
There is no less to do on dry land as well. Have a ride on a segway, go horse riding & pony trekking or simply enjoy walking the spectacular coast path. There are golf courses, a golf driving range, a pitch ‘n’ putt and crazy golf.
