UK Surf & Skate Expo Returns Bigger and Bolder for 2026
3rd July 2026

The UK Surf & Skate Expo is back for 2026, after a wildly successful inaugural year – with a bigger format, more talks, more stages and more of everything.
This year’s expanded format introduces three major additions. On July 24th, Out Of Office Conference takes place, a one-day event for businesses to connect at the seaside in Newquay. Expo will also house the European Surf Film Festival, the best surf movies from across the Continent and beyond. There will also be the Wind & Foil Show, where the best wind and foil brands will showcase their equipment, offer demos and much more.
The Expo will also host a diverse lineup of athletes, filmmakers, explorers, founders and industry leaders. Talks will take place in the Expo Hall, sponsored by YETI. And XTRATUF will host their own stage, called Tales From The Frontier, where their roster of creatives and athletes will talk about recent adventures, such as travelling photographer Sam Sherring, set to give insights into how he got started in the industry.
There will also be the Wavelength UK Surfer Awards, honouring the country's top talent, with public voting open now, you can do so by going here.
As for the keynote talks, weird waves superstar Dylan Graves is IN for Expo, along with surf explorer Tim Latte and big wave surfer Laura Crane.
Chris Thomson, Expo organiser said: “We had a very successful year last year. They say the first year is one of the trickiest as it's an event that hasn't been done before. With more then 65 exhibitors, dozens of international speakers and 10,000 people through the door, think we proved the concept worked. It's why this year, we want to go bigger and bolder – create a space where brands can connect, athletes can meet and members of the public get to interact with their heroes, or brands they've followed for a long time."
New in for 2026 are:
European Surf Film Festival – July 25th, running 7-11pm in the Expo Hall, hosted by the legendary Wingnut.
Wind and Foil Show – July 25th-26th, the latest find and foil tech plus a chance to talk to the experts.
Out Of Office Conference – July 24th, a gathering of the brightest marketing minds including from Passenger, YETI and the genius behind Ryan Air’s socials, Michael Corcoran.
Rising Tide Festival – July 25th and 26th, joins the Expo, featuring talks on sustainability and so much more.
“We'll be announcing lots more exciting elements as we get closer to the date,” said Chris.
Last year, one of the highlights of the Expo was a talk by Dogtown and Z Boys legend, Tony Alva, after he had spent a few hours at Newquay's skatepark Concrete Waves.
Exhibitors are still able to book in for this year's Expo, which you can do so by going here. Entry to the Expo Village is free but you will still need an entry pass. To see talks, films and more, you will need to purchase a ticket. Which you can do by going here.
