LIFEGUARDS IN THE SUMMER (please check dates)
The large, open and sandy beach at Holywell Bay is located around 5 miles west of Newquay, on the north Cornwall coast. Holywell Bay is a popular destination for surfers and swimmers. Cliffs encompass this rural beach, which at low tide is a mile long and there is a large expanse of sand dunes. The beach is exposed to large Atlantic swells and it is a popular beach with surfers and body boarders. At low tide children can paddle in rock pools or shallow streams on Holywell Bay beach. The numerous sand dunes provide a dry option at low or high tide. At high tide there is ample room amongst the dunes.
