On this page, we've put together what we consider to be some of our best images of Newquay, because we believe that the beauty of our Cornish town should be shared!

1. Towan Beach

2. Fistral Beach
The surfing mecca of the UK! In this image you're sure to spot more than a few surfers on the look-out for some waves, and in the distance you can see the impressive Headland Hotel.

3. The Huers Hut
Here you can see the Huers Hut, a symbol of Newquay's commercial fishing past, in all it's glory.

4. Newquay Harbour
Newquay was once called Towan Blystra, but the name was changed when a 'New Quay' was built in the early 14th Century at the historic harbour.

5. Towan Head
Here you can see Towan Head, which boasts stunning coastline views and is one of the best places to watch a Newquay sunset.

6. The Gannel Estuary
Pictured below, the Gannel is a tidal estuary that seperates Newquay from the charming Crantock Village.

7. Surfer's Paradise
Newquay is famous for it's surfing and the spectacular Boardmaster's Surf and Music Festival.

9. The South West Coast Path
This National Trust trail of stunning coastal walking passes all through Newquay.

10. Pentire Point
Pictured below is the Lewinnick Lodge at Pentire Point, along with more amazing views of Newquay's rugged coastline.

11. Trenance Gardens
Trenance Gardens is a pretty spot to spend the afternoon (and the cottages do a lovely Cornish Cream Tea).

12. Crantock Beach
Here you can spot the Gannel Estuary flowing into the sea over the expansive Crantock Beach.
