The Killacourt is one of Newquay’s most popular outdoor event venues. With generous green space, a bandstand and spectacular views across Towan Beach, it provides a stunning setting for events enjoyed all year round.

Throughout the year, Newquay Town Council delivers a programme of free-to-attend events at the Killacourt, alongside supporting a range of external events. These include the popular BIG Newquay Market, food and drink festivals, live music events and community days.

Easter Egg-stravaganza

The Easter Egg-stravaganza is a fun-filled tradition in Newquay, featuring an exciting egg hunt, storytelling, kids’ disco, face painting, mini fairground rides, and more.

Newquay Sessions

Enjoy free summer entertainment on select Saturdays in July and August, starting with the The First Wave. Expect children’s entertainment, kids’ discos, DJ sunset sessions, a country hoedown, and a day packed with your most-requested acts.

Summer Finale – Family Fun Day

Celebrate the end of a packed summer of events with our Summer Finale. With activities and entertainment for all ages, we’re excited to see what this year’s event brings as we wave goodbye to summer but keep the fun going in Newquay.

Newquay at Christmas

Newquay at Christmas brings three days of festive celebrations to the end of November, with a dazzling lights switch-on, live entertainment, a festive market, children’s activities, and plenty of traditional family festivities to start the Christmas season in Newquay.
