Big Newquay Tree Plant: Help Create Trenance Community Woodland
Come and lend a hand to plant the new Trenance Community Woodland, and plant a personal tree for your future generations!
Join us for an exciting day of tree planting in Newquay! We’re transforming a half hectare green space into a thriving community woodland and resilient green space by planting 500 trees including an orchard that will benefit wildlife and biodiversity, increase tree canopy cover and create a beautiful space for everyone in Newquay to enjoy.

No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
Tools and guidance will be provided and each person planting a tree will be given information about their tree location and species so they can identify it in future.
What to Bring
- Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Gloves and spade if you have them. We will provide plenty on the day.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome; families, individuals, and community groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Event is Free! But please register your spot to help us organise the day.
