Father Christmas at Lappa Valley

One of Cornwall’s most loved family attractions has released the details of their popular Father Christmas events this December.

Come and enjoy the wonder and magic of Lappa Valley at Christmas time. Meet Father Christmas in his very special grotto, where his elves have a present for every child.

Board a nostalgic train journey through the winter countryside to East Wheal Rose – a winter wonderland with Christmas music playing throughout, a chance to write your letter to Father Christmas, enjoy a Christmas activity book and experience unlimited rides on a very festive-themed Lakeside Railway.

Families then get the chance to visit Father Christmas in his magical grotto where every child will receive a present as well as a cookie and a hot chocolate or squash.

Meanwhile, they haven’t forgotten the adults, who will also be treated to a mince pie and hot chocolate or coffee/tea.

The outdoor play areas at East Wheal Rose will also be open, as well as the Adventure Golf and our indoor soft play area at The Engine Shed.

Make a day of it, and enjoy a delicious meal in the Engine Shed Cafe who will have some seasonal specials to offer too.

They’re pleased to share that on Saturday 6th December, the 1430 and 1530 trains will be tailored to groups with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Please see website for more details
