About
Join Children’s Hospice South West at the Lost Gardens of Heligan for a special evening to remember your loved ones.
Date: Saturday 7th November 2026
Location: Lost Gardens of Heligan, PL26 6EN
Celebrate the life of someone you hold in your heart at the Lost Gardens of Heligan
Inviting you to walk in the calm and beauty of Heligan’s lit paths for an uplifting evening, raising vital funds for families supported by our 3 hospices, including Little Harbour.
The evening starts with a beautiful memory ceremony with songs, poems, readings, a one minute applause and one minute silence in memory of your loved ones as their name and photos feature throughout.
The ceremony is followed by a 4k walk in the lit paths of Heligan, with special points along the way to pause and remember by completing activities in your loved one's memory. You will stop at Heligan's Iconic Night Garden Moon for a i minute silence, write your loved ones names in a book, light a candle inside your personalised decorated candle bags, leave a finger print on a canvas in memory of your loved one and make a wish by choosing a charm to place on a key ring.
Photos and names participants added to the online dedication page will feature throughout the evening and anyone who can not attend in person are also welcome to add their loved ones photos and names for a donation to CHSW: https://moonlightmemorywalk2026.dedicationpage.org/cornwall
We ask each person who takes part to pledge to raise £60 in memory of those they are walking for.
There are just 300 places available to be a part of this uplifting evening, and due to its sensitive nature registration is only open to those aged 12 years or over.
