The fantastic Newquay Lifeboat Day is the RNLI’s biggest fundraising event of the year and YOU are all invited!

Head on down to Newquay Harbour on Saturday 8th August 2026 from 10am for this FREE EVENT to help raise money and see what amazing work the RNLI Volunteers and other rescue services do within Newquay.

With free admission, dramatic rescue demonstrations, demonstrations by RNLI Lifeguards, live music, stalls and refreshments at Newquay's historic harbour, all in aid of the charity that saves lives at sea.

Newquay Lifeboat Day Line Up 

10:00am Launch of Newquay lifeboats to escort Padstow lifeboat into the Harbour

10:00am Stalls open at harbour prior to the start of the parade

10:30am Arrival of padstow lifeboat with opportunities to tour boat throughout the day

10:30am Parade Starts at the bottom of Marcus Hill

11:00am Newquay Samba Band playing at the Harbour

11.20am Opening of Lifeboat Day by the Mayor

12:00pm Newquay Rowing Club Singers

12:30pm Demonstration by Newquay Lfeguards

1:30pm Newquay / Padsow lifeboats demonstration

2:30pm Walker Cup Gig Race with lifeboats escorting the gigs

3:00pm Announcement of raffle results

3:00pm Departure of Padstow lifeboat

3.30pm Stall begin to close

All Day: Stormy stan photo opprtunities.
