Newquay Lions Community Carnival Returns with a Splash – “Sea, Surf and Going Green”!

Newquay's Community Carnival is making a comeback this summer – and it’s going to be greener and splashier than ever!

Join us on Saturday, 5th July 2025 at 6:00 PM for a fun-filled parade through the heart of Newquay, starting at Sainsbury’s/Sydney Road and finishing at Oakleigh Terrace (by Asda).

 This year’s theme is “Sea, Surf and Going Green” – a celebration of our coastal spirit, love for the ocean, and enjoying all things Newquay!

We’re inviting the community to get creative with eco-friendly designs, ocean-inspired costumes, and vibrant displays that reflect our seaside town and our shared environmental values.

We’re calling on local organisations, schools, performers, community groups, businesses, and individuals to join the parade and help bring this theme to life. Whether you’re surfing in costume, or simply showing your support, there’s a place for everyone in this year’s Carnival.
