Newquay Library is hosting a week of events for St Piran’s Celebrations, so pop along and join in the fun!

All Week

Exhibition of work from Newquay children sharing their ‘vision of Cornwall past & present’

Pick up a Cornish quiz sheet and test your knowledge of Cornish.

Children’s Treasure Trail throughout Newquay. Pick up an entry from the library, find the clues and win a prize…!

Saturday 2nd March – Cornish Themed Lego Day – come along in your best pirate attire for a fun pirate attire for a fun pirate-themed Lego building session.

Tuesday 5th March – 10:30am – 11:30am – Special children’s story time session with Cornish author Bianca Richardson.

13:45 – 14:15 - Newquay Junior Academy Children’s choir singing their specially selected sea shanties and there will be Cornish cakes for all to enjoy.

Wednesday 6th March – 15:30 – 16:30 – Family St Piran’s themed craft event. Drop in any time and make something crafty.

Friday 8th March – 10:30 – 11:30 - Cornish Themed Songs and Rhymes for under 5’s.
