About
A celebration of the Orchard as a community space featuring music, spoken word, food, stalls, games, activities, art, wellbeing, and connection.
The Newquay Orchard Fayre will be a celebration of the Orchard as a community space on Saturday 20th May 2023.
Featuring: music and spoken word from Sproutspoken and kids’ activities from Imagine Outdoors; food (coffee and cake, Latin cuisine and Canteen goodness); engaging community stalls from local organisations such as the Salvation Army, Prickles and Paws and the Wildlife Trust; lawn games lead by Team Orchard; art exhibitions and arty fun with ALMA Artspace; willow weaving and foraging with our volunteers; bicycle repair workshops; horticulture activities; and wellbeing drop-in sessions like yoga and herbal healing led by some of Newquay Orchard’s members.
We'll also have our own stall to shout about all the things we do best - including sharing all the news about our new veg box scheme and volunteering opportunities - under a stretch tent canopy on our community field, accompanied by music, local men's singing group Oll an Gwella and our very own Paddy Wakeman on the fiddle.
Come and support our vendors. Enjoy the food and drink. Dance, laugh, chat, tell your friends.
