Perranporth is a fairly small, popular family seaside resort with a good range of local amenities including restaurants and pubs serving great, traditional menus and, of course, fish and chips!. The high street offers a selection of essentials and souvenir shops that are great for browsing. Perranporth is also a favourite with walkers, being on the South West Coast Path with beautiful scenic walks north to Holywell Bay or south to St Agnes, and being a dog friendly beach we are just as popular with our four legged friends!Perranporth is famous for its 3 mile stretch of sandy beach, ideal for a perfect family holiday by the sea! Set on the Atlantic coast makes it a very popular with the surfing community, and the beach is manned by lifeguards during the main season (April to September).
There is plenty to do in Perranporth, including horse riding, surf lessons, and golf, and with nearby attractions such as Healey’s Cyder Farm and Holywell Bay Fun Park we know you won’t get bored on holiday here! Being close to the main A30, Perranporth is also a great base for exploring the rest of Cornwall, including the nearby resorts of Newquay, quaint and picturesque St Agnes and the Cathedral City of Truro.
Perranporth has a good range of holiday accommodation, with self-catering, B&Bs and a youth hostel. The local tourist information centre can provide maps, local information and details of attractions and accommodation providers.
