Newquay, Cornwall's beloved seaside town, is set to host its world-renowned surf and music festival once again. Boardmasters 2026 promises an unforgettable 5-day extravaganza across two iconic locations.

Festival Overview

Established in 1981, Boardmasters has grown into a major event on the UK's festival calendar. Last year, it welcomed over 150,000 attendees across its two sites. The festival seamlessly blends surf culture with live music, creating a unique coastal celebration.

Fistral Beach: Surf's Up!

Watch world-class surfers compete at the UK's surfing mecca. The Boardmasters 'Surf Village' offers shopping, refreshments, and prime views of the action.

After Parties 

When the sun sets on the stunning Cornish coastline and the headliners finish each night, the parties will continue at the best clubs in Newquay. From Wednesday 5th – Saturday 9th August 2026, the hottest DJs and bands will be playing into the early hours at selected Newquay nightclubs.  

There's a return bus service running each night until 04:30 in the morning, meaning you have no excuse not to party with friends and bathe in golden hues as the sun rises.

Tickets are sold in pricing tiers. Once one tier sells out, Boardmasters move up to the next tier, so the earlier you book, the better price you'll pay!

Getting Around: Shuttle Bus Service

Grab a Festival Shuttle Bus wristband for £10 and enjoy unlimited use of the shuttle bus service throughout the festival!

Or, if you’re just looking for a one-off ride, you can buy a single ticket on the bus for £3.50 (no pre-booking available for these).
