FREE Lantern-Making Workshop 2023

Ahead of this year’s Christmas Lights Switch On and Lantern Parade, Experience Newquay and Blystra Arts will be hosting a workshop where you can make your very own lantern to bring along on the night of the parade.

Join artist Chris Nixon on Saturday 25th November for a 4-hour workshop at the Store House Community Hub. Pop-in between 10am – 2pm and make a mini willow lantern sculpture to bring along to the parade which will take place on Friday 1st December 2023.

This workshop is designed to be creative, fun, and free to all, suitable for families or anyone who fancies learning how to make a lantern

Experience Newquay is working in collaboration with Newquay Town Council, Visit Newquay and Newquay BID to add these free family friendly lantern festivities to the wider Christmas activities happening across the town.

Experience Newquay is a Cornwall Council project, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
