Summer Holidays
Six whole weeks of school holidays..! Six whole weeks of finding things to keep the children entertained..! But don’t worry we are here to give you some ideas to get through the school holidays!
Free Days Out
Everyone loves a free day out and in Newquay there are several things and places you can go for free the main attraction would be one of the twelve sandy beaches.
Why not go to Trenance Leisure Park which has a great play park and it also has Concrete Waves ® Skate Park which again is free to use and has some beautiful gardens and a boating lake.
Another free place to go would be the Gannel Estuary which is a wildlife haven. You can explore the rock pools and walk the estuary which you would end up in the next village along from Newquay, Crantock.
Sunny Days
Well if it is a sunny day then the most obvious place to go would be the beach, building sand castles, rock pooling, running around - it’s a full day out! There are twelve beaches in and around the Newquay area each one offering a different beach experience.
Each of the free days out above are all great places to visit when the sun is shinning too!
Rainy Days
Everyone dreads those rainy days and trying to find things to do… Well in Newquay we have some great indoor attractions which include the Blue Reef Aquarium, the cinema and ten pin bowling.
If you have a car then you have loads of places to choose from Dairyland Farmworld and Trerice Manor is just up the road from Newquay and a little further afield you have Camel Creek Adventure Park and Flambards.
