Newquay at Christmas 2026

Newquay at Christmas returns from Friday 27th – Sunday 29th November 2026, marking the start of the festive celebrations. Across the three days, you can expect a sparkling Christmas lights switch‑on featuring a fireworks display, live music, festive performances and children’s entertainment.

Full details of timings and entertainment will be announced later in the year.
 

Christmas in the Town Centre

Christmas in Newquay extends far beyond the Killacourt. Throughout December, local businesses, community groups and churches will be offering a wide range of festive activities to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

Newquay Christmas Trail

A Christmas trail will return for 2026 to bring an extra touch of festive adventure to your visit. Families will be able to explore the town, follow clues, and discover Christmas surprises along the way.

New Year’s Eve in Newquay

New Year’s Eve remains one of Newquay’s most cherished traditions, with fancy dress, gatherings in the town centre, and celebrations throughout the evening. As always, Newquay Town Council Events plans to welcome in 2027 with a stunning fireworks display over the bay at midnight.
