This year’s Cornish Maritime History Conference features speakers on a diverse range of fascinating topics including:

• Pioneers and plant hunters: linking Falmouth to the Empire by Megan Westley
• 17th century Barbary Piracy and the West Country Fisheries by Jo Esra
• Steam Shipping Lines in Cornwall by Roy Fenton
• Interpreting Fox’s Falmouth Shipping Arrivals Ledgers by Jonathan Griffin

Plus contributors to the long awaited The Maritime History of Cornwall, which will be launched at the conference.
