Join us for Newquay’s FREE family event this Easter – the Easter Egg‑stravaganza on the Killacourt.
Brought to you by Newquay Town Council Events and Visit Newquay, this much‑loved Easter community event returns on Sunday 5th April, 2026 offering a full day of fun for families.
Event details:
Families are invited to enjoy a packed programme of free Easter activities, including:
Enjoy throughout the day (10am – 4pm):
- Easter trail around the Killacourt – perfect for little explorers
- FREE small fairground rides for children
Timed activities:
- Easter egg hunt – with a tasty prize for every child (from 11.15am, more details below)
- Storytelling sessions in the Bandstand: 11am – 1pm
- Face Painting:11am - 3pm
- Children’s disco: 2pm – 4pm
Easter Egg Hunt Timings
The Easter egg hunt will run three times during the day. If you miss the first session, there will be two further chances to take part.
Please note:
- No entry once a session has started
- One session per child
- Session 1: 11:15
- Session 2: 12:15
- Session 3: 13:15
Plus our friends at Newquay Lions Club are having a FREE Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm on Towan Beach!
This event is open to children of all ages and celebrates the joy of coming together as a community for this springtime celebration. Bring your little bunnies along and enjoy an Easter day out by the coast.
